Karlsruhe Institute for Technology (KIT) are looking for three research software engineers to support the NFDI4Chem (nfdi4chem.de) team at KIT. Your work includes software development of Smartlab applications and tools (e.g. electronic laboratory notebooks, short ELN) as well as the extension of existing subject-specific repositories with new functions. Furthermore, you will contribute to the development of interfaces for the integration of various repositories and tools in chemistry, fostering FAIR research data management (RDM). You will be part of a team that takes responsibility to distribute the developed software and to orchestrate instances with technologies such as docker, kubernetes etc. You will also contribute to the documentation of all developed systems.
You work in an intYou work in an interdisciplinary team together with skilled software developers, research data experts and chemistry researchers and have possibilities to publish results in scientific journals and present your work at conferences.
Salary category 13, depending on the fulfillment of professional and personal requirements.
