FAIR4Chem-Award 2023: Laureates selected

We are very pleased that once again many scientists participated in the FAIR4Chem Award 2023. Two have emerged as winners from the submissions. Our congratulations go to Dr. Johanna R. Bruckner from the University of Stuttgart and Prof. Dr. Lena Daumann from the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich.

FAIR4Chem-Award 2023: Laureates: Johanna R. Bruckner & Lena Daumann

The selected Laureates:

Johanna R. Bruckner submitted a dataset on “Predictive design of ordered mesoporous silica with well-defined, ultra-large mesopores,” deposited in DaRUS.
(DOI: https://doi.org/10.1039/D2ME00107A)

Lena Daumann competed for the award with data on “Modular Synthesis of New Pyrroloquinoline Quinone Derivatives”, stored in the Chemotion Repository
(DOI: https://doi.org/10.1055/s-0041-1738426)

The FAIR4Chem Award 2023 aims to encourage chemists to make their research data openly available to the chemical community according to FAIR principles. To this end, the best dataset or datasets are awarded 500 euros each year (financed by the Chemical Industry Fund).

We are pleased to present the award to our two prize winners on 23.03.2023 at the JungChemikerForum spring symposium in Gießen.
